Ahh, Marc, that would be a post in itself wouldn’t it. Maybe one of these days but they are incredibly busy just now so I think I shall wait a bit.
An interesting article in the latest Covenant Companion (I think?) compares the Church to a stepfamily. Sometimes it takes work to do that love thing.
You are right, Phil. Blending all sorts of odd people into some semblance of a family is work. It is also partly my own frustration at being a presence in my own little world trying to display the work Christ is doing in me and remaining faithful to who I am in him.
